Gluten Free Cream Soup Mix An easy mix to have on hand for soup

It is easy to have Gluten Free Cream Soup Mix on hand!

If you would like a healthy, gluten free alternative to condensed, made with GMO ingredients, MSG, modified food starch, soy protein, and wheat flour canned soup, Gluten Free Cream Soup Mix is great! It is easy to make up enough for 5 or more “cans” of soup. Simply double or triple it if you use it often.

I store mine in a mason jar with the instructions written on masking tape right on the jar; not fancy but handy. I also use broth instead of water for better flavor. Look at my posts to see how to make your own broth and how to can your broth.

2 cups nonfat dry milk powder

3/4 cup arrowroot powder

1/4 cup chicken bouillon granules

½ tsp dried parsley

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/4 tsp pepper


Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.


For 1 “can” of soup: Whisk 1/3 cup of mix and 1-1/2 cups of water or broth in a small saucepan until smooth.

Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes.


Yield:  5 ½ servings of 1/3 cup
