No Bake Blueberry Angel Dessert is cold, creamy, sweet and delicious; all that is desired in a dessert!
No Bake Blueberry Angel Dessert is all of the above and easy too! Pile the ingredients into a pan, let it chill in the refrigerator until needed, cut and serve. It can be made even a few days ahead of time and still be great. I have made this many times in the past decade and it is a hit every time. The recipe is from Taste of Home magazine. I have always made it with blueberry filling but it could be made with any kind you like; cherry, lemon, apple, pineapple, strawberry—any fruit!

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 prepared angel food cake (14 oz.) cut into 1 inch cubes
2 cans (21 oz. each) blueberry pie filling or any pie filling you like
In large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Cut the angel food cake into cubes.
Fold in Cool Whip and cake cubes.
Spread evenly into an ungreased 9 X 13 pan.
Top with pie filling.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. It can also be made a few days ahead of time.
