Colorful Hamburger Rice is adapted from Taste of Home. Those magazines were wonderful for me as a new wife and learning to cook things my family liked. We ate many, many of those recipes over the years and still do.
I added beef bouillon for more flavor. I would just use beef broth the next time. You can use fresh vegetables (1 cup of each), canned (1 can of each) or frozen (a 12 oz bag–or 2 if you want more veggies). It is especially easy if you have your ground beef already cooked. I cook my ground beef with dried minced onion so do not add more to the recipe. It is a quick, easy, one pot meal and is very good warmed for lunch the next day. My guys like it best with bbq sauce served on the side.
Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Rice is another great complete rice meal.
