Whole Wheat Quick Bread is a mix and bake recipe!
When you would like some homemade bread but don’t have hours to knead and let it rise, Whole Wheat Quick Bread is the recipe you want! This is a hearty, thick bread. Our favorite way to eat it is with soup. We think it is a bit heavy for sandwiches but it is also great toasted for breakfast slathered with butter, jam, jelly, apple butter or peanut butter.
You can easily make this dairy free by substituting any non dairy milk for the regular milk.
This is an easy recipe to make your own mix ahead of time too. Just put all of the dry ingredients into a ziplock bag, label and put aside until needed. When you want to make your bread, you only need to add the bag and 3 more things; so easy!
