It is so easy to whip up this Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal in only 5 minutes and in 1 saucepan for easy cleanup. That makes for a nice, simple breakfast!

This also smells wonderful as it cooks! It doesn’t take long but the kitchen will smell so good with this oatmeal, pumpkin and spices cooking.

Anyone eating this will feel warm and satisfied all morning after eating healthy oats and pumpkin. It is easy to add nuts and berries on top to make it even more delicious and nourishing.

What if I don’t have Pumpkin Pie Spice?

No problem! I have a super easy recipe to make your own!  

I always use my Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice. It is just 4 basic spices and no fillers.

Can it Be Made Ahead of Time

Yes, it can be made ahead of time so makes a good meal prep option. Store it in a container with a lid or bowl with plastic wrap.

It will be thicker when you reheat it so just add a bit more milk and stir until it is the consistency you like.

How to Store Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

If you have leftovers, store in the refrigerator in a container with a lid or in a bowl with plastic wrap.

How to Make Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

In a small saucepan, combine the water, milk, oats, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice.

Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to medium and cook and stir for about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat.

Stir in syrup and vanilla.

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • Sliced or chopped nuts, optional
  • Berries, optional

Instructions
