Easy Low Carb No Cook Ketchup: Just whisk together 8 basic ingredients, chill, and you have ketchup! Only 2 carbs per serving!

Do you want to make your own low carb ketchup but don’t want to mess with cooking down tomatoes and a long process? Me too!

Easy Low Carb No Cook Ketchup is the recipe you want!

Tomato paste is the oh-so-easy (and cheap!) base. Now there will be carbs and even sugars in any ketchup because tomatoes do have them. We can keep the carbs low by diluting it with a little bit of water and using a natural, carb free sweetener like Stevia.

Add the Stevia “to taste”. Other sweeteners can be used if you prefer.

I chose the liquid so it would incorporate well into the room temperature mixture.

If you use a granulated sweetener that does not blend in, just heat it a bit and stir.

The water is also “to taste” or to desired consistency. Make it as thick or thin as you like.

One thing to remember; the more water you add, the fewer carbs there will be per serving.

How to Store your Ketchup:

Store the ketchup in the refrigerator.

It can also be frozen in a freezer safe container. Leave a little space (at least half an inch) at the top so when it expands it doesn’t break the container. 

Pints of this can be canned in a water bath canner for 15 minutes.

The cayenne pepper is optional. It does give it a little bit of heat. We like that but if you don’t, leave it out or reduce it.

Directions:

Whisk all together in a bowl.

  • 1 cup water
  • 4 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • ½ tsp dry mustard
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½-1 tsp liquid Stevia (to taste)

Instructions
