Halloween Bloodshot Eyes Deviled Eggs

Halloween Bloodshot Eyes Deviled Eggs

These Halloween Bloodshot Eyes Deviled Eggs will be great fun at your next Halloween party! They are creepy and deviled eggs are always delicious!

Halloween Bloodshot Eyes Deviled Eggs are the perfect blend of creepy and delicious for Halloween! Being able to do some of the prep work ahead of time makes them super easy to make too!

It is helpful that they are low carb and gluten free so almost anyone can eat them.

I use my Best Ever Deviled Eggs recipe as the base for these Halloween Bloodshot Eyes Deviled Eggs because well, they really are the best. They are not fancy and go well with the olives and ketchup too.

Boil and peel the eggs the day ahead for quicker assembly when you need them.

If you are wondering about eating ketchup on your deviled egg, I was too. There is such a tiny amount on each one though, you can barely taste it and it just gives it a little tang. It is good! 😊

This recipe has been shared in Meal Plan Monday and Weekend Potluck. Head on over to these great sites for LOTS of new recipes each week!

Why I Love This Recipe

Easy to make with simple ingredients.

So easy to make that kids can help!

They are very healthy compared to other party foods.

Comes together in 30 minutes.

They are child friendly.

They are super tasty.

Can I make Halloween Bloodshot Eyes Deviled Eggs ahead of time?

The filling can be mixed up ahead of time if needed but I don’t recommend putting it into the whites too far ahead. It is best to do that step as close to serving as possible. You will definitely want to assemble the eyeballs at the last minute but you could do the cutting of the olives ahead of time.

How do I store Halloween Bloodshot Eyes Deviled Eggs?

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

How do I get my eggs to peel nicely?

When making deviled eggs, you absolutely want your eggs to peel nicely without half of the egg sticking to the shell. Some will add things to their water as they boil. Some use their instant pot. I don’t do either. My “secret” is ice water after they boil. If you would like step by step instructions with a video, see this post; How to Make Easy to Peel Hard Boiled Eggs.
