What to Serve with
We love Onion Relish with hot dogs and hamburgers. It is great with this Simple Recipe for Hamburgers. I also love to mix it into my potato salad or anything like that. Don’t tell anyone, but I have even just eaten it alone on a spoon.

Here it is on a hotdog and with corn and red pepper salsa and chips on the side. That recipe is coming soon. Sign up for our email so you don’t miss it!

An onion shortcut
When we moved into our last house, we didn’t have a usable kitchen for several weeks and I was really wanting some of this so I bought some of the pre-cut onions in the vegetable department. They are in the pre-made salad area and so easy to make this with! I was so happy to find them. Just dump them in the bowl with the mayo and mustard and there you have it!
Can You Make Onion Relish Ahead of Time?
Yes! Actually, it is even better if it has a day for the flavors to blend so it is a great thing to make ahead.
Can You Freeze Onion Relish?
No. With raw onions and mayonnaise, it is not recommended to freeze this. It does last at least a week in the refrigerator though.
