Easy Homemade Alfredo Sauce Quick, Easy, Low Carb, Gluten Free, Thick and Delicious! No more canned sauce for us!

Easy Homemade Alfredo Sauce is Quick, Easy, Low Carb, Gluten Free, Thick and Delicious!

I love to avoid store bought sauces that are full of preservatives and questionable ingredients.

I love to make Easy Homemade Alfredo Sauce because it is just so much better than ANY other sauce we have tasted!

A jarred sauce just cannot compare with this.

With only 6 ingredients, it is not even difficult to make. Simply add the ingredients to the saucepan and stir until they are blended and there you have it; a wonderful, thick, creamy sauce!

Easy Homemade Alfredo Sauce will dress up anything you put it over; pasta, chicken, beef, pork, shrimp or vegetables; especially broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, Brussels sprouts or green beans. Just anything, really!

Serve with

3 Ingredient Crock Pot Meatballs or

Crock Pot Garlic Herb Chicken

and Keto Mashed Cauliflower Much Like Potatoes

I always make a double batch to have leftovers to put over other things later in the week. It will keep in the refrigerator for several days.

Will it freeze? Well, yes, it WILL freeze but it will separate. It can be whisked well and warmed and still taste just fine but won’t look quite right. I have done it but it would be a personal preference.

Serve this sauce over shrimp and with these Low Carb Garlic Cheese Biscuits and you have a restaurant worthy meal.

I also have an amazing recipe for Low Carb Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Casserole. You just HAVE to try that!

1 ½ cups grated parmesan cheese

1/8 tsp black pepper

Add the cream cheese and garlic powder and stir with a wire whisk until it is smooth.

Add the cream a little at a time while continuing to whisk.

If the sauce gets thick with sitting time, reheat or add a little more cream or milk to thin it out.

    1. Hi Shirley, I am sorry you are having trouble! I just tried to print this one and it worked fine for me. I just don’t know what the problem could be. With us using different computers/phones, printers and internets, it is impossible to tell from here. Is it more than one recipe you are having trouble with? I would be happy to email you at the address you provided with the document if you would like.

  1. I saw this makes 10 servings, but there is no weight or measurement for one serving, do you know how much one serving is?

    1. Hi Catherine! I am sorry for the delay in answering and for omitting that. The recipe makes about 5 cups so 10 servings would be about 1/2 cup each. I added that to the post. Thanks! Joy

      1. I have made this recipe several times since posting this and it has consistently made 4 cups, not 5 cups. I am not sure how it was mismeasured the first few times. 🙁 I have also gotten a new way to put in my recipes and it calculates the nutrition so that is a bit different too (not every resource does it exactly the same somehow). I just want to keep you posted on that! 🙂 It is all in the new post for you.
