Slow Cooker Pumpkin Spice Apple Cider is the perfect warm, spicy drink to serve for company or a relaxing night at home. It even contains healthy, apple and pumpkin!
How about something to serve your guests that takes just minutes to prepare and can be made ahead? And that same something makes your house smell wonderful? Slow Cooker Pumpkin Spice Apple Cider is all of that and more!
We have actually taken plain apple cider and added pumpkin and pumpkin spice! It adds more flavor of the season and vitamins and minerals too!
And by warming it in the slow cooker, it can be put together hours ahead of when it is needed and will make the house smell wonderful as it warms.
As the hostess, you will not have to think about that item on your list at the last minute and your guests will come in nose first! 😊 Slow Cooker Pumpkin Spice Apple Cider is really the best of everything!
Sometimes we like to make a batch and just heat a mug at a time in the microwave. We don’t always make it for a large group. That is easy too. Just make the batch, stir it well and scoop out what you need for a mug.

Can the Apple Cider Be Made Ahead of Time?
Yes! Do all of the steps except for the heating. Keep in refrigerator until ready to use.
Can This Be Frozen
Yes, it could be frozen in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
Thaw, stir well and reheat to use.
How to Store Leftover Cider
If there are leftovers, store in a covered container in the refrigerator. A mason jar with a lid is perfect.
Stir well and reheat as desired when ready to use leftovers.
How to Serve
Serve hot but be sure it isn’t too hot for young sippers.
Key Ingredients
(Full printable ingredients and instructions are just below.)
>apple cider—just prepared cider in a jug at the grocery store
>pumpkin puree—the pure pumpkin, not pumpkin pie mix that has added sugar and spices
>pumpkin pie spice
>packed brown sugar—this is really optional. By adding the pumpkin, we did think it needed a bit of sweetness added. If you prefer honey, maple syrup, Swerve or another sweetener, any option is fine.
