Grilled Marinated London Broil is a new recipe to us but a keeper!
We were very blessed to be able to get a 1/4 cow for our freezer last year. It was the first time we were able to do it and I learned a lot. I got cuts that I had never cooked before and London Broil was one of them.
We were all very happy with how Grilled Marinated London Broil turned out. I will look forward to the next London Broil we get but will also use this marinade for other cuts.
The pictures are of twice what the recipe called for so double it all if you want as much as you see in the pictures.

Does it have to be frozen?
No. Having it in the freezer is super helpful and the freezing process makes it very tender but it doesn’t have to be frozen. This can also be cooked after marinating in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
It was so very tender and moist. That is because the meat was frozen in the marinade. Somehow the process really does make it extra tender.
Ingredients:
London Broil
mustard (I used spicy brown)
dried oregano, basil and thyme
extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
Whisk all marinade ingredients together.
Pour over meat in glass dish. You could also use a sealable plastic bag but my pieces were so big that I used a dish.
Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 8 hours in refrigerator. Turn over at least once to keep it well coated.
Remove meat from marinade and pat dry. Discard marinade.
Grill on preheated, oiled grill for about 10 minutes on each side. It should be about 4 inches from the heat flame. The time will of course depend on the thickness of the meat and how close it is to the heat. For medium rare, a meat thermometer would register 125-130*.
Meat could also be broiled for the about same amount of time.
It is important to let the meat rest for about 10 minutes after removing from grill. This keeps it juicy.
Cut the meat diagonally across the grain into thin slices and serve.
